Bienvenidos!
Mi nombre es Mena Santana soy actriz colombiana residente en Londres. Mi carrera como actriz comenzó desde muy pequeña, pero de manera profesional en el año 2013 en Barcelona, la ciudad que me acogió y me vio crecer artísticamente.
Empecé en cursos amateurs de teatro, para descubrir si realmente era algo a lo que me quería dedicar; y definitivamente lo comprobé, aquel era mi sitio. Mi curiosidad artística creció y decidí tomar rumbos mas profesionales, que se adaptaban a mi necesidad de querer ir más allá.
Para el año 2014 empecé la formación en el estudio para actores de Laura Jou, donde tuve la oportunidad de explorar el método Chéjov. Al año siguiente, continué con mi formación en el estudio para actores Nancy Tuñon i Jordi Oliver, finalizando mis estudios para el año 2018. Compaginando con mi formación, tuve la oportunidad de participar en microteatro, teatro amateur, publicidad y cine.
Cabe destacar mi participación en el largometraje “Blood Room” dirigida por Chico Morera (2016) y estrenada en el Festival Internacional de Sitges 2016. “Match” dirigido por Stephan Hofmann (2017). Ganador al mejor corto en el «Concurs Mil Mirades» 2017. En el año 2018, tuve la oportunidad de participar en el cortometraje “Gringos, Balas y Frijoles” dirigido por Ferrán Ureña; presentado en el Notado Film Fest. En el 2022, participé en el segundo largometraje de Juan Miguel de Castillo “La Maniobra de la Tortuga” protagonizada por Natalia De Molina y Fred Tatien. Estrenada en el Festival de Cine de Málaga. Por supuesto el teatro ha estado presente también como “El camí del colibrí” escrita por: Laura Freijó. Estrenada en el Festival TRANSformer Vaca, Projecte Vaca 2016. Participé en Microdegustación teatral con la obra “El Pacto” escrita por Ángel Serrano y dirigida por Ferrán Ureña. Entre muchas otras.
Actualmente continuo con mi formación como actriz en Londres, concretamente en el Teatro Cervantes de Londres y abriendo nuevas puertas y oportunidades. Sígueme en mis redes sociales para no perderte mi ascenso al estrellato!.

Welcome! My name is Mena Santana. I am a Colombian actress living in London. My acting career began at a very young age, but professionally, in 2013, I was in Barcelona, the city that welcomed me and saw me grow artistically.
I started taking amateur theatre courses to discover if I wanted to dedicate myself to it, and I confirmed that it was my place. My artistic curiosity grew, and I decided to take more professional paths, adapting to my desire to go further. In 2014, I began training for actors at Laura Jou’s studio, where I had the opportunity to explore the Chekhov method. I continued training for actors at the Nancy Tuñon I Jordi Oliver studio the following year, finishing my studies in 2018.
Combined with my training, I had the opportunity to participate in micro theatre, amateur theatre, advertising and cinema. It is worth highlighting my participation in the “Blood Room” feature film directed by Chico Morera (2016), which premiered at the Sitges International Festival 2016. “Match” directed by Stephan Hofmann (2017). Winner of the best short film in the «Concurs Mil Mirades» 2017. In 2018, I had the opportunity to participate in the short film “Gringos, Balas y Frijoles”, directed by Ferrán Ureña, presented at the Notado Film Fest.
In 2022, I participated in Juan Miguel de Castillo’s second feature film, “Unfinished Affairs”, starring Natalia De Molina and Fred Tatien. Premiered at the Malaga Film Festival. Of course, the theatre has also been present, such as “The Hummingbird Path” written by Laura Freijó. Premiered at the TRANSformer Vaca Festival, Projecte Vaca 2016. I participated in a theatrical micro-tasting with the play “El Pacto”, written by Ángel Serrano and directed by Ferrán Ureña, among many others.
